Foreword
It is said "Nepal looks
like a Silver Necklace from the Space".
Obviously, Himalayan kingdom Nepal, sand-witched between China
and India, is the land of eternal fascination. The elevation
of the country ranges from 60m above the sea level to the
highest point on earth. Because of its unique geographical
position, climate varies from place to place. Consequently,
different kind of vegetation, flora and fauna of every corner
of the world can be found here. Although, Nepal occupies only
0.1% of the earth but it is the home to 2% of all the flowering
plants in the world, 8% of the worlds population of birds,
319 species of exotic orchids, 635 species of butterfly, 4%
of mammals on earth. The world's highest lake and the world's
deepest gorge are in Nepal. The Nepalese Himalayas contains
8 of the 10 highest peaks on earth including Sagarmatha 'Everest'
8,848m the tallest of all. Hence, Nepal is often known as
the biggest natural museum in the world. No doubt, Nepal is
a treasury island.
But, despite of the natural richness why is Nepal deserted
like Ethiopia? A day's numeration can hardly buy 2 liter of
petrol whether 630 liter of petrol can be bought in America.
Why the peoples smiling faces are suffering from
wormlike grieves gnawing at their existence. Why Stream of
blood rushes in the birthplace of Lord Buddha?
One has been seeking the answer of a civilized
society continuously but hit head against the wall.
The only short answer of this is: the lack
of civic education and the lack of responsible leaders. And
the concrete solution shall be: an ideal governance
and the civic education. Until and unless the
tender beam of education touches the conscience of the Nepalese,
until people start to love the country by heart- take a wide
vision of live and let live, the chaotic situation remains
same in Nepal.
ECONOMICALLY , SOCIALLY, POLITICALLY
WELL BALANCED = PEAC
It would be wise to follow the 'Buddhist's
Middle Path'. Live simple and die a simple death too. Decrease
your cravings as possible as you can. The real
meaning of life lies on wandering flower to flower and producing
sweet honey. The real meaning of life lies on understanding
"Hands that serve are holier than the lips that pray"
which I call it with a phrase "THE ART OF LIVING".
!
……..And, among the many ways to bring good changes
in society we have thought to contribute through organic farming
(Agro Enterprise) and started organic farming in Pokhara.
A group of intellectuals realized that the peace is not possible
without economic development. In this context, it shall be
wise to involve the farmers in our farming project. It would
be foolish to talk about organic farming in a country like
Nepal where still traditional method is adopted in farming.
However, we have attempted to increase agricultural production
in a systematic way understanding the value of natural product;
the real taste of the food from the wild earth.
Dear well-wishers, sincere supports and valuable comments
are always welcome.
Dhanyabad !
