FACTS ABOUT THE FARM

Practicing Permaculture, Eco farm has been developed as a learning platform. Sustainable use of natural resources and bio-diversity conservation is our major concern. Identifying Himalayan herbs and huge plantation of Jatropha (bio-diseal plant) is our deep interest. It is spread in 5 hector lands and has got plenty of flower and fruit plantations along with sandal wood, Olive trees, bamboos and thorny shrub as bio fencing.

LOCATION:
Eco farm is situated in a tranquil Pokhara valley 200 km west to Kathmandu, the capital city. It is amidst the nature; deep forest, cliff, waterfall, river and mountain range in the background. Just 10 minute drive leads to our Eco farm from Lakeside tourist spot. You feel as if you have come to remote countryside yet it is so near from the city.

FACILITIES:
Eco Farm provides a bicycle to go here and there. 3 Natural cottages for accommodation. As this is a learning platform we welcome for internships. Costs USD 11 (Includes: 3 meals, accommodation, taxes and Technician guiding)

THINGS TO DO:
Work in vegetable and fruit farm, cow milking, honey harvest etc. In your free time you may go for water- fall bath and fish angling, cannoying. You enjoy naked sky full of stars, firefly, wilderness and beautiful Annapurna mountain range. One can climb to MACHAN at the height of 80ft tree if you want to see Royal Bengal Tiger at night.

PARTNERSHIP:
One can be a general member of this farm paying USD 150 and USD 567 for Life member. Any interested party can be share holders buying 50 % of capital investment.
